This has been on my to do list for some time! Everyone likes waterfalls – they are simply an awesome display of natures power. The Beacons are just over an hours drive from me – and this exact location probably an hour and a half – in the heart of the beacons. The trail is called the Four Waterfalls. It is pretty accessible – its around a 3-4 hour walk to see four waterfalls. I somehow missed one – there was a diversion due to a damaged path which may have confused me. It is a solid walk though, muddy in places and some scrambling required. All pretty fun though and well worth it.
It is pretty busy – so getting shots without loads of people in is tricky. Going on a Sunday afternoon probably makes this worse! It is fairly dark in there too – so a tripod is definitely recommended – plus it let me slow down the exposure. All in all it was a great trail and fun to shoot the waterfalls.
This spot would be great in summer – plenty of swimming opportunities!
Looks beautiful!
