Storm Katie blessed South Wales with some much needed wind and waves. It felt like it had been months since I had been out on the water. In reality it was only a few weeks – but eitherway I needed a session. It was 7m weather at Rest Bay and the tide was just heading out. These are my favourite conditions and I didn’t care about the odd shower coming through. After a good few hours on the water I felt like my sanity had been restored.
As I cruised down into town in search of sustenance I noticed the dramatic clouds. The sun started going down and the tide was on its way back in. I clambered out onto the rocks to take some shots. As the tide came in the waves started beating on the light house – always a popular spot for photographers and storm watchers.
