One of the best thing about summer is that fruit and veg are typically harvested then in obscene quantities. It is starting already. Eating your own rhubarb and Carrots is amazing – not together mind. We planted the carrots just before xmas, and inherited the rhubarb on the allotment. The recent wet drought has done the plants wonders too – looking good for late summer feasting.
