I have always wanted to run a magazine. I am not into the whole print magazine concept – it makes it almost impossible to be current and you are starved of news for two months before being given more than you can handle as a new issue turns up. Online allows you to drip feed content and provide news when it is still news. The fact it can be worked on from anywhere in the world so long as you have a laptop and an internet connection is great too.
Board Mag is a boardsport magazine which for now covers kiteboarding, mountainboarding,snowboarding and longboarding. These are all sports which are close to me and I am into. With the exception of snowboarding, they are under reported too. Our focus is not on syndicating content but on creating original content that is of value to the reader.
